Make a start
One step at a time.
4 steps
Start with the synthetic worked example or other non-sensitive inputs. Run one prompt at a time in your chosen AI tool. Replace any bracketed placeholders with the requested material, check each reply, and supply the source or earlier outputs that step needs. Paste them again if the tool lacks that context.
Set up the worked example
Open
Open a new text-AI chat and a document or plain-text editor. This task produces three written drafts and a list of missing facts. A poster layout tool is only needed later; no image generation, email sending or social account connection is needed.
Add the sample
In step 1 replace [paste] with all of ‘The starting point’ (Synthetic input), from ‘Synthetic example: Sample Venue event brief.’ through ‘every item can be repaired.’ Send the later prompts one at a time in the same chat, checking each reply. Before step 4 save your fact sheet, three drafts and hold list as my-event-pack.txt, reopen it and append that saved text under SAVED PACK, together with the original brief under ORIGINAL BRIEF. Use ‘The intended result’ (Illustrative output) to compare, not as new facts. This is a fictional event exercise.
Start with the synthetic example, then adapt each prompt to your task.
01
Create one fact sheet
Start with approved facts and exclusions. Missing information should block publication when it affects attendance or payment.
Your starting prompt
Extract a single event fact sheet from this brief: name, audience, activity, date including year, time, venue, address, price, inclusions, exclusions, booking route and access information. Separate confirmed facts from unknowns. Preserve any restrictions on claims. Do not invent a booking link.
BRIEF:
[paste]
Expect
A single fact sheet separating the supplied event details from unknown year, street address, accessibility information and cancellation terms.
Check
Make & Mend Evening is for adults new to mending, 21 June, 18:00–20:00, at Sample Venue’s main room. The £8 price includes basic thread and needles; guests bring one clothing item and food is excluded. Booking is events@example.com, with no link supplied.
If it differs
If the reply guesses a year, address or URL, ask for removal and restore the unknown. Keep the no-guaranteed-repair restriction in the fact sheet.
02
Draft for three different spaces
Make the social post easy to scan, the email informative and the poster readable at a glance.
Your starting prompt
Using only the confirmed fact sheet, write a social post, an email with subject line and concise poster copy. Keep the tone requested in the brief. Use the same event name, price, date, time and booking route throughout. Avoid fabricated urgency, testimonials, scarcity or guaranteed results. Label these as drafts.
Expect
A social draft, an email draft with a subject line, and poster wording. They may use different wording while keeping one set of facts.
Check
All three retain the same name, £8 price, 21 June, 18:00–20:00 and events@example.com. There is no invented scarcity, praise, urgency or promise that every repair will succeed. These are words for a poster, not finished artwork.
If it differs
For a mismatch, quote the fact sheet and ask to correct every affected draft. Keep them labeled drafts; the sample address is not a real booking request.
03
Make the missing facts actionable
Keep internal questions out of public copy and collect them in a clear publication checklist.
Your starting prompt
Review these drafts for missing information that could confuse someone booking or attending. Produce a separate hold-before-publication checklist. Identify which exact draft fields must be updated when each answer arrives. Do not fill the gaps from assumptions or publish placeholders as confirmed facts.
Expect
A separate hold-before-publication list with the four missing details and the fields to update when confirmed.
Check
Year and publishable street address need consistent updates across the pack; access information and cancellation terms also need resolution. Internal questions stay in the hold list rather than masquerading as confirmed public details.
If it differs
If a blocker disappears without new evidence, restore it. Ask which drafts need each answer. Save the fact sheet, drafts and hold list together under the fresh filename before step 4.
04
Check every channel against the brief
Verify the text before laying out artwork or posting. Shorter copy still needs accurate essentials.
Your starting prompt
Audit each draft against the original brief. Check event name, audience, date, time, location, price, inclusions and booking contact character by character where appropriate. Flag unsupported promises and missing essentials. Return corrected drafts and the remaining publication blockers. Do not publish or send them.
Expect
Corrected drafts and remaining blockers, checked against the original brief and the saved pack you reopened.
Check
Compare the name, price, dates, time, inclusions and exact booking address yourself. Unknown details still block publication. The exercise does not establish that a real event exists or that a message was sent.
If it differs
If a fact changes, correct all affected versions and save a new revision. Reopen the revised file and repeat the fact check. Keep the pack private and in draft form while facts remain unresolved.
Optional: improve the result
Update the pack from a single change list
When details change, revise all drafts from one confirmed update rather than editing each from memory.
Advanced prompt
Apply only the approved changes below to the event fact sheet and all three drafts. Return the revised drafts plus a change log naming every affected channel. Preserve unchanged facts. If two updates conflict, stop and flag the conflict instead of choosing one. Remove publication blockers only when a supplied update resolves them.

Optional: use your own input+
Draft a pack for your own event brief
Use your own approved, non-sensitive event brief, or a fully fictional practice event. Start a fresh chat with the prompt below. After checking its fact sheet, send these messages in order: “Using only my confirmed fact sheet, draft a social post, an email with subject line and concise poster wording. Keep the same name, audience, date/year, time/time zone if supplied, location, price/inclusions and approved booking route throughout. No invented scarcity, testimonials or guarantees. Label all three drafts.” “Make a separate hold-before-publication list for missing or conflicting attendance, access, payment, cancellation and booking details. Name the fields to update in every affected draft. Do not invent facts or present placeholders as approved copy.” Save the checked fact sheet, drafts and hold list as my-event-pack.txt or a new document. Reopen that saved version before continuing. “Audit my saved pack against my original brief below. Check all facts and exact booking text, remove unsupported promises and return corrected drafts with unresolved blockers. Do not send, publish or lay out artwork. ORIGINAL BRIEF: [paste the full brief]. SAVED PACK: [paste the complete reopened pack].” Save and reopen corrections, then recheck the changed facts across all three drafts. If your editor is unavailable, keep a clearly labeled chat draft and do not claim a saved-file check. Your own facts replace the sample’s date, price and contact; a missing booking route stays missing. The original advanced prompt applies only after you supply your own checked pack and explicit approved changes. Publication is a separate decision.
Your own-input prompt
Help me prepare three coordinated event drafts from MY BRIEF. First extract the event name, audience, activity, complete date/year, time and time zone if supplied, venue/address, price and required fees, inclusions/exclusions, booking route, access information, cancellation terms, tone and claim restrictions. Separate approved facts, unknowns and contradictions. Ask about important gaps and wait for my review before drafting. Do not infer a real event from a practice brief, invent booking links or promises, or send/publish anything.
MY BRIEF
[Paste your own approved non-sensitive details or identify a fully fictional practice event. Include exactly what may be said publicly, exact booking text if approved, and missing details as unknown.]
Check your own result
The three drafts agree with your brief on essential attendance and payment facts and the exact approved booking route.
Unknown or conflicting facts remain in a separate hold list until supplied answers resolve them.
Shorter poster/social wording does not change inclusions, exclusions or claim limits.
The reopened saved pack is the version audited; drafts do not authorize sending or publication.

HOLD BEFORE PUBLICATION
Confirm the event year, publishable street address, accessibility information and cancellation terms. Add the confirmed year and address consistently to all three drafts. These drafts are not ready to publish while those details remain unresolved.
These checks use the worked example and its particular facts. With your own material, check your actual names, numbers, sources and rules; do not reuse the sample’s values as the answer.
Unsaved checks stay in this tab and reset when you reload. If you choose Save guide, its current example checkmarks are kept in this browser when storage is available.
!
A few things to watch for.
Adding “selling fast” or “last places” without real evidence.
Letting a poster rewrite change the price, included materials or booking route.
